Prayer Al-Tawassol is a prayer for requesting wishes from Allah. In this prayer, Allah is specially being sworn to the Fourteen Infallibles, and we ask Him to make our wishes and prayers come true because of them. Such a request is the sign of The Fourteen Infallibles position for Allah and it does not have any conflict with monotheism.
